Question:

I'm 18 and I know I'm one of your younger fans but I just wanted to say
that I still enjoy your movies and they were a part of why I made the
decision to become involved in acting when I was in high school. My
question to you is, with all of your success in acting and bodybuilding do
you ever still wonder how different your life would have been if you had
chosen a career based on your studies of Chemical Engineering. Also, would
you ever consider trying your hand at somewhat combining the two and
making a movie about a character loosely based on what you imagine your
life would have been like?

DL:

Hi Julie,
Of course that thought strikes me once in a while. What life would have been like if I had a career based on my studies? It sure would have been different. But my thought hasnt got that far as even considering doing a movie on that subject! But now you got me thinking&

Dear Dolph Lundgren,
My name is Michella and I come from The Netherlands. My age is 15 and I am a big fan from you. I like your movies very much. The first movie what I have see from you was Rocky4, it is a great movie and your a their so
wonderful :-) So my question is: How did you come to be an actor and how many languages do you speak
big kiss and a big hug,
MichellaName:Aimee

DL:

Hi Michella,
I did´t plan to become an actor. Things just happened in that direction. I was with my then girlfriend Grace Jones who starred in the bond film A View To A Kill, and the director offered me a small, really small, part. And one thing led to an other, and now twenty years later Im still in the business.
Well I speak Swedish and English of course, then German, French, Spanish, Some Italian and Japanese. There you have it!

Question:

Hi Dolph! I've been a fan of yours ever since Rocky IV
even though I had a big crush on Carl Weathers, whose character you killed
in the film. But you looked so good, I had to forgive you! Anyway, I
have two quick questions. First of all, I can tell from all your
schooling that you're well-educated. But is it true that you have a
genius-level IQ? It seems too good to be true for one man to be so very
intelligent, talented, athletic, AND fine as hell! All this leads to my
second question.
Are you available? If not, do you have a brother who is? If so,
feel free to visit me in Nashville, TN USA for some real southern
hospitality! Just kidding (well, no not necessarily (smile)).
Anyway, good luck with "The Defender". I'm sure you're an excellent
director as you seem to be great at everything you put your mind to! I
hope you will stop by some of the US talk shows to promote it!
Love ya,
Aimee

DL:

Hi Aimee,
No I have a genius level IQ. Whats that? No just kidding& Thank you for forgiving me killing Carl Weathers. Thats very grand of you!
Im happily married to my wife Anette and I have to great daughters so I guess you have to pin your hopes on my younger brother Johan. Maybe hed appreciate some southern hospitality..
Thanks for the good luck greeting on The Defender- project its been really hard work, but ultimately rewarding.
Sure Ill be in the states promoting it and I might see you!

Dolph, I have followed your career closely and from the first
time I saw: DARK ANGEL, I knew you were going to be something special.
This being my favorite film, I also cant go past the dynamic Ivan Drago
you played in Rocky 4 to the brilliant Hidden Agenda. You have inspired me
to lift weights and achieve a lot of goals I never thought I could
achieve. I just hope you never stop making films as you are the most
underrated actor of your genre. I also have spoken to Cameron Quinn from
your Kyokushin karate days and he can only speak highly of you.
Dolph, you rock mate!

Well Mike,
I can just say thank you for your inspiring email. If you se Cameron Quinn again say I said Hi, and say osu, hell know what I mean.

Hi Dolph,
after recently seeing "Universal Soldier" for the first time since junior
high, I realized I have, for all these years, in fact been a huge fan of
yours, however subconsciously. I now realize the impact films such as "The
Punisher," "Rocky IV," and "Masters of the Universe" have had on my
childhood. I recall my father describing to me your educational
background, and how, unlike many so-called action stars, you are in fact a
thoughtful and intelligent actor, something I found impressive and
actually inspirational.

I am also impressed that you put so much effort and enthusiasm into your
website! Considering your background in engineering, I was wondering if
you contributed to the actual technical and audio-visual construction of
your website. Best wishes to you, I'll look for you book!

I'm a Canadian girl living in Calgary, working in your once-favorite field

hadn't seen many of your films until watching Universal Soldier recently
on video. Just wanted to tell you that you were wonderful and probably
the best looking man I have ever seen.
I scanned various sites for photos of you but noticed there weren't that
many showing off your incredible body. I would love to have some
art-style black and whites of you. You are simply a god and haven't been
photographed nearly enough for your perfect form. Any ideas where I might
get some superb photograph of you to hang in my new loft?
Anyway Dolph, you are a divine creature and I just wanted to let you know
I am a huge admirer. Now captivated with your great looks, I am curious
about the "intelligent" you I've heard so much about. So I will keep up
on you and look to learn more about your endeavors. Your educational
merits, martial arts work and commitment to your family make you sound
like such a well-rounded fellow. I wish you all the best, and while
admiring your fine body can see that you are both brains and beauty.
Keep it up Dolph! The world needs more handsome AND brilliant fellows in

Question:

Well, short and sweet, I've been a big fan for a long time. In the late
80's after my wife and I divorced, I had gone from about 190 lbs. to a
huge 285!! Desperate to shed the weight, I began eating right and I
bought a tape called "Dolph Lundgren's: Maximum Potential". Using it
religiously every day, in about 8 weeks I went down to about 220 and was
in the best shape of my life. I was about 26 years old at that time.

Now, at 40, I find myself in a similar situation. After several years of
personal tragedies including my father's suicide in 1999, I am again
dangerously close to 300 lbs. Yesterday, I came across your tape and made the decision to do something about my size. So, once again, I have no doubt that you will come to my rescue and in no time (maybe a little
longer than it took at 26) I will be able to get back down to the weight I
need to be. I just felt that you might like to know how you touched my
life before and will now, do again. I can say with all sincerity that if
there is ever anything I can do to say thank you or repay in some way what you have done for me, don't hesitate to ask. I wish for you all the blessings and joy that the world can give!!
