DOLPH'S THOUGHTS:
Shot in Los Angeles 1998. It was my first film in LA for a while, so it was fun to get back there with British director Tony Hickox. I played a test pilot, so I got to do some research on that which was fun. I got to try on those high pressure flight-suits they wear. They look great in the movies, but its a drag to move in these things because you are hooked up in these tubes all the time.
Another part of the picture was an actors delight; you got to sit in a fake cockpit, reacting to fake planes and events, whilst a sort of motor moves this cockpit around, and you are dressed in a high pressure suit in about 120 degrees. I don't think I gained too much weight during that picture!
Storm Catcher also gave me a chance to work with a stuntman I worked with in the past, Mark Dellasandro. He used to be Sylvester Stallone's stunt double and he also played my Russian corner man in Rocky IV. Thats whats fun in this business, you meet people, become friends and usually you share these incredible experiences, and when you meet years later its always fun to talk about old times.
