DOLPH'S THOUGHTS:
In the summer of 1999 I went down to Israel, to the Dead Sea to start shooting The Last Patrol, my second picture in Israel. An action movie set in the desert of California actually, but shot in Israel, there you go the magic of film making…

We where there in the summer, the hottest time of the year. Temperature reached 100 degrees every single day of shooting and I was wearing a camouflage uniform, and even at some point a US Army dress uniform, so we are talking HOT!

There was the beautiful scenery of the Dead Sea but we spend a lot of time down at Eilat, which is the main Red Sea port in Israel. Its always nice to be on an exotic location in a picture. The local specialty is deep sea diving, so we did a lot of diving. My stunts double, this South African guy Wade Eastwood is a certified dive instructor, so we had a lot of fun.
